Help support The Rocky Mountain ALS Foundation and Molly Smith with her fund raising efforts.
In July 2009, four women will backpack 100 miles of the Colorado Trail, starting at Stony Pass in Silverton, Colorado and ending up in Durango, Colorado. This is a fundraiser to benefit The ALS Association-Rocky Mountain Chapter with all contributions going toward patient services and research.
100 Miles for ALS was created in memory of Elsie Follansbee. She was a loving mother, a dear friend to so many and an inspiration to those who knew her. Diagnosed with ALS in November 2006, Elsie lost her battle at the age of 77 in March 2008. Shortly after the diagnosis, her family moved her from her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Durango, Colorado. She faced her disease with incredible courage and compassion. ALS is a most tragic disease and Elsie never lost her sense of humor or her ability to find joy and fulfillment every day.
Please join us as we strive to raise funds to help others living with ALS.
Thank you for your support,
Molly Smith
